MIG/MAG welding is possibly the most versatile welding process. At Migatronic, we focus on developing reliable, user-friendly MIG/MAG welders with perfect welding performance, to ensure high production capacity for you, regardless of industry or conditions.
At Migatronic, we strive to deliver the very best welding performance and user-friendly welding machines across our product line and our gas metal arc welders are a testament to the quality and knowledge we put into every product. Our MIG/MAG welders are in use all over the world, building and servicing great constructions for industries such as manufacturing, offshore, construction, agriculture – but also used to repair cars in the auto business. Our synergic machines make it easy to adjust amps, wire feed speed and the resulting welding speed along with other welding parameters, by the turn of a single knob. You can even control the parameters from the welding gun.
This is the process of arc welding with a consumable, solid welding wire electrode, covered in shielding gas. Depending on what type of gas you use, the most common GMAW processes are metal inert gas (MIG) and metal active gas (MAG). The MIG process typically uses argon or helium, which are inert gases, for shielding. The MAG process more commonly uses a mixed gas, e.g. argon-carbon dioxide and argon-oxygen, which activates certain conditions in the weld pool. Some machines also support flux cored arc welding (FCAW), which utilises a flux cored wire instead of a solid wire.
